Job Summary
To support a Medicare Pharmacy Appeals team, the remote Senior Pharmacy Appeals Technician will perform clinical outreach and review of Medicare Part D appeal requests on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Perform clinical outreach and pharmacy technician review for Medicare Part D appeals
- Make outbound calls to obtain necessary clinical information for appeal requests
- Work efficiently to meet case deadlines and department production, quality, and accuracy standards
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or higher
- 2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
- Active State Board of Pharmacy Technician License
- 1+ year of Microsoft Office experience
- Proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel, including basic spreadsheet functions
