State Licensed Pharmacy Technician
Job Summary
Serving as the primary point of contact for members, providers, and pharmacies, the remote State Licensed Pharmacy Technician will deliver timely support across various communication channels, field inquiries related to pharmacy benefits, and assist in processing prescription claims.
Key responsibilities
- Provide accurate support for inquiries regarding mail order, benefit design, formulary coverage, and claims adjudication
- Document interactions and resolutions to ensure continuity of care and compliance with operational standards
- Assist clinical pharmacists with patient outreach and enrollment in clinical programs while maintaining service quality across all channels
Required qualifications
- Active/Current National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB, NHA)
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a relevant setting
- Working knowledge of pharmacy claims adjudication and benefit design
- Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience
- Experience with mail order and specialty pharmacy is a strong fit
