Job Summary
To support pharmacy services remotely, the full-time State Licensed Pharmacy Technician will perform medication history, manage specialty medications, and coordinate with patients and healthcare providers during day shifts, Monday through Friday.
Key responsibilities
- Perform medication history, procurement, and inventory management while supporting nuclear pharmacy services and Patient Assistance Programs (PAP)
- Manage specialty medications through prior authorizations and coordinate financial assistance options
- Effectively communicate and coordinate with patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams
Required qualifications
- State Licensed Pharmacy Technician credential from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association
- High school diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable job-specific experience
- 1+ year of experience with Patient Assistance Programs (PAP) and grant management
- 1+ year of experience with prior authorizations and pharmacy benefit management (PBM)
