Job Summary
To support senior health and wellness initiatives, the full-time State Licensed Pharmacy Technician will manage incoming and outgoing communications with nursing staff and physicians, process prescriptions, and document interactions while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Triaging calls and assisting callers with prescription inquiries and authorizations
- Processing new and refill prescriptions, verifying eligibility, and maintaining quality standards
- Documenting correspondence and providing feedback to management on trends and training opportunities
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- State Pharmacy Technician license and Certification (CPhT)
- Long-term care pharmacy experience
- Experience with Frameworks and Docutrack
