Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Sr Pharm PA/Appeals Technician will process pharmacy Prior Authorization and Appeals cases, review documentation, and make outbound calls to gather clinical information from providers and members.
Key responsibilities
- Process pharmacy Prior Authorization (PA) and Appeals cases
- Review and document pharmacy-related cases
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals
Required qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician License
- PTCB Certification (preferred/strongly desired)
- Minimum 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
