State Licensed Physician Associate
Job Summary
To support ongoing clinical review and adjudication of appeals and grievances, the full-time State Licensed Physician Associate will collaborate with a medical director and an integrated team, working remotely from anywhere within the U.S.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct individual case reviews for appeals and grievances related to various health plan products
- Communicate with medical directors regarding the rationales for appeals decisions and benefit interpretations
- Participate in team meetings focused on communication, process improvement, and staff training
Required qualifications
- Current Physician Assistant/Associate license in the state of residence
- Current Board Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- 5+ years of clinical PA practice experience
- Intermediate computer skills in MS Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to work Monday-Friday during normal business hours
