State Licensed Principal Counsel

Job Summary

To support a growing technology initiative, the full-time State Licensed Principal Counsel will shape product strategy, lead technology transactions, and develop scalable legal infrastructure while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Shape product strategy from the start by partnering closely with Product and Engineering teams
• Lead sophisticated technology transactions, balancing opportunity, pace, and risk
• Develop scalable legal processes, playbooks, and templates to empower business teams

Required qualifications

• Extensive legal experience, particularly in-house within a technology or marketplace environment
• Hands-on product counseling experience from concept through launch
• Working knowledge of cloud services, intellectual property, privacy, and cybersecurity
• Experience creating scalable legal processes and technology-enabled workflows
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active admission to at least one U.S. state bar
