State Licensed Prior Authorization Pharmacist

Job Summary

To support a growing pharmacy benefit management team, the full-time remote State Licensed Prior Authorization Pharmacist will review and complete prior authorization requests in accordance with established policies and procedures while applying pharmacy knowledge to ensure accurate and timely reviews.

Key responsibilities

• Review and complete criteria for prior authorization requests in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Apply applicable policies and procedures when reviewing prior authorization criteria
• Complete prior authorization activities accurately and in a timely manner

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy
• Active pharmacist license in good standing in the state of residence
• At least two years of experience as a pharmacist
• Previous pharmacy experience in a PBM or Prior Authorization environment
• Experience reviewing and completing prior authorization criteria according to policy and procedure
