State Licensed Prior Authorization Pharmacist

Job Summary

To support a growing pharmaceutical team, the full-time State Licensed Prior Authorization Pharmacist will review and complete prior authorization criteria in accordance with established policies and procedures while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review and complete criteria for prior authorization requests accurately and timely
• Apply pharmacy knowledge and established guidelines to support prior authorization reviews
• Ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures during the review process

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy
• Active state pharmacist license in good standing
• At least two years of experience as a pharmacist
• One year of pharmacy experience in a PBM or Prior Authorization environment
• Experience reviewing and completing prior authorization criteria
