Job Summary
Partnering with innovative teams, the full-time State Licensed Product Counsel will provide legal guidance on the development of digital identity and fraud prevention products, advising on compliance and legal risks while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel on product development, focusing on privacy, consumer protection, and regulatory compliance
- Draft and review customer agreements, terms of use, and privacy policies to ensure alignment with legal standards
- Participate in privacy and data governance programs, including regulatory monitoring and consumer-facing issues
Required qualifications
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house for a financial institution or fintech
- Technical background in engineering, computer science, data analytics, or related fields
- Familiarity with state and federal privacy and AI laws
- A JD and active membership in at least one state bar
- Ability to translate legal advice into actionable guidance for product teams
