State Licensed Profee Auditor

Job Summary

To enhance auditing expertise, the remote Senior Licensed Profee Auditor will conduct coding audits on a variety of professional fee medical records while working independently in a flexible environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform coding audits on professional fee medical records across multiple specialties
• Translate audit findings into actionable education and provide individualized feedback to coders and auditors
• Participate in quality assurance activities to promote consistency and accuracy in coding practices

Required qualifications:

• Active AHIMA or AAPC certification (CPC, CPMA, CCS-P, or COC)
• 3-5 years of hands-on professional fee coding and medical record auditing experience
• Advanced knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS coding, and professional coding guidelines
• Experience with EHR systems and automated auditing tools
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
