Job Summary

To enhance auditing and coding expertise, the part-time State Licensed Profee Auditor will conduct coding audits on various professional fee medical records while working remotely, ensuring quality and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform coding audits on a variety of professional fee medical records across multiple specialties
• Translate audit findings into actionable education and provide individualized feedback to internal coders and auditors
• Participate in quality assurance activities to promote consistency and accuracy in coding practices

Required qualifications

• Active AHIMA or AAPC certification (CPC, CPMA, CCS-P, or COC)
• 3-5 years of hands-on professional fee coding and medical record auditing experience
• Advanced knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS coding, and relevant regulatory requirements
• Experience with EHR systems and automated auditing tools
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
