Job Summary
To support regulatory compliance in insurance pricing, the full-time State Licensed Senior Actuarial Analyst will manage filing evidence, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and work directly with customers to ensure the effective use of Nearmap data in rate filings.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and collaborate to produce filing materials for Nearmap attributes and scores used in rating
- Document state requirements for model validation and maintain compliance with the NAIC checklist for model filings
- Advise customers on filing-ready attributes and partner with actuarial teams on implementing Nearmap data in rating plans
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of property and casualty actuarial experience, particularly in pricing and rate filings
- ACAS or FCAS credentialing strongly preferred
- Experience preparing actuarial exhibits for rate filings and responding to regulator objections
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, economics, or a related field
- Familiarity with SERFF and the practical mechanics of insurance filings
