Job Summary

Managing a specialized caseload, the temporary Senior Commercial Property Claims Adjuster will handle approximately 40 existing claims for licensed cannabis operations, acting as the primary liaison between third-party administrators and carrier clients while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end process of commercial property claims from existing caseloads
• Investigate various types of losses, including fire, water, theft, and environmental contamination
• Negotiate claim settlements and identify opportunities for subrogation, salvage, and recovery

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial property claims experience handling complex and high-severity claims
• Active adjuster license in the candidate's state of residence
• Strong knowledge of commercial property coverage interpretation and settlement processes
• Cannabis claims experience is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with insurance claims software and estimating platforms such as Xactimate
