State Licensed Senior Counsel
Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time remote AVP, Senior Counsel will draft, negotiate, and advise on complex agreements with health plans and government programs while managing a high-volume contract portfolio and advising internal stakeholders on healthcare regulatory risks.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the legal evaluation and internal review process for various customer contracts
- Serve as the primary legal contact for contract interpretation and risk identification
- Advise internal teams on contract structure, negotiation strategies, and regulatory issues
Required qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in any state
- 5-7 years of law firm, health plan, or in-house healthcare experience
- Extensive knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance
- Experience in drafting and reviewing value-based care program contracts
