Job Summary
To support a growing legal team, the full-time Senior Counsel in Risk & Enforcement will serve as a strategic advisor on intellectual property disputes, software enforcement, and trade secret protection, while collaborating with various departments to mitigate risk and prepare for potential litigation.
Key responsibilities
- Lead strategies for intellectual property and technology-related disputes, ensuring effective legal approaches to trade secret, patent, and software licensing claims
- Develop and implement litigation prevention frameworks, including processes for early risk identification and evidence collection
- Advise on customer license compliance and manage disputes with vendors and third parties involving technology and confidentiality issues
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and in good standing with at least one State Bar
- Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, including at least 5 years in litigation and significant in-house experience
- Experience managing intellectual property or technology-related disputes, particularly in software and trade secret matters
- Preferred degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
- Demonstrated capability in developing litigation readiness and dispute prevention programs
