Job Summary
To support the Indirect Sourcing team, the full-time State Licensed Senior Counsel will deliver effective legal services, manage a high volume of commercial vendor agreements, and handle legal projects with minimal supervision in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Review and negotiate various commercial vendor agreements, including MSAs and Statements of Work
- Provide strategic legal counsel on sourcing indirect goods and services while managing related legal projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance and alignment throughout the contract lifecycle
Required qualifications:
- 4 to 8 years of legal experience with expertise in contracts and commercial law
- Law degree from an accredited institution and admission to the state bar
- Demonstrated ability to manage the full contract lifecycle for sourcing agreements
- Significant knowledge of indirect sourcing concepts and legal procedures
- Experience supervising outside counsel and collaborating with procurement teams
