State Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

To support a growing legal department, the full-time State Licensed Senior Counsel will negotiate and draft various commercial contracts, including vendor and technology agreements, while working remotely in the USA.

Key responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating vendor and procurement agreements, including technology agreements and software licenses
• Collaborating with internal teams on vendor governance, risk mitigation, and compliance with laws and regulations
• Advising on contract disputes and refining procurement processes and templates to enhance contracting efficiency

Required qualifications

• JD with at least one state bar membership and eligibility to practice in the state of residence
• A minimum of seven years of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial transactions, preferably with procurement agreements
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in supporting high-growth infrastructure SaaS companies
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and communicate effectively
