State Licensed Senior Manager, Reimbursement

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time remote Senior Manager, Reimbursement will monitor and interpret state legislative and regulatory requirements impacting laboratory services, payer policy, billing, and reimbursement while leading a team and collaborating with various internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze state legislation and regulations affecting clinical laboratories and reimbursement practices
• Mentor and guide a team, providing training on complex scenarios and best practices
• Evaluate reimbursement implications of state-specific requirements and communicate impacts to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or 7 years with an Associate's degree
• 2+ years of experience within the clinical laboratory or broader healthcare industry
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school preferred
• 2+ years of experience interpreting healthcare laws and regulations
• Strong understanding of payer policies and the laboratory revenue cycle
