Job Summary
To support the Premier Contractor GL program, the remote State Licensed Senior Underwriter will review complex insurance applications, evaluate risk against guidelines, and mentor team members while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Utilize databases and software to gather data and ensure accurate policy pricing
- Provide recommendations to clients on applications to mitigate risk exposure
- Collaborate with the underwriting team and cultivate relationships with producers to meet production goals
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5-7 years of underwriting or related insurance experience required
- CPCU, CIC, CRIS, or Property & Casualty Brokers License preferred
- Strong customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry-specific software quickly
