State Licensed Special Education Tutor
Job Summary
Supporting Pre-K and K students through individualized, multisensory instruction, the part-time State Licensed Special Education Tutor will deliver online 1:1 academic support aligned with each student's IEP or 504 goals while maintaining flexible scheduling, primarily in the mornings and on weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 online instruction tailored to each student's IEP/504 goals
- Assess student progress regularly and adapt instructional methods as needed
- Communicate progress with families and the assigned coordinator
Required qualifications
- Active Special Education certification (state or national)
- Minimum 3 years of classroom or tutoring experience, preferably at the Pre-K & K level
- Experience implementing IEPs/504 plans
- Ability to pass a background check and authorized to work in the United States
- Reliable computer, internet, and a quiet remote workspace
