Job Summary
To support elementary students in grades 1-5, the part-time State Licensed Special Education Tutor will deliver individualized online instruction aligned to IEP or 504 goals, utilizing multisensory strategies while maintaining flexible scheduling, particularly in the mornings and on weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 online instruction aligned to each student's IEP/504 goals
- Assess student progress regularly and adapt instructional methods as needed
- Communicate progress with families and maintain professional conduct and confidentiality
Required qualifications
- Active Special Education certification (state or national)
- Minimum 3 years of classroom or tutoring experience at the Elementary (Grades 1-5) level
- Experience implementing IEPs/504 plans
- Reliable computer, internet, and a quiet remote workspace
- Able to pass a background check and authorized to work in the United States
