Job Summary
Driving strategic outcomes, the full-time Senior Licensed Specialty Claims Examiner will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve complex specialty claims, including environmental and toxic tort cases, while working in a hybrid or remote environment based on location.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve high complexity specialty claims across multiple jurisdictions
- Develop and maintain relationships with agency forces, insureds, claimants, and legal experts
- Monitor litigation strategies and collaborate with defense counsel throughout the claims process
Required qualifications
- Must possess or secure and maintain appropriate state adjuster licenses and continuing education credits
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field with 6 years of insurance experience, or 8 years of relevant experience
- Experience handling high complexity, high severity claims, including specialty claims
- Ability to travel overnight up to 20%
- Preferred experience in litigation and mediation management
