Job Summary
To support Elementary (Grades 1-5) students, the part-time State Licensed SPED Tutor will provide individualized online instruction aligned with IEP or 504 goals, focusing on skill-building and progress communication, with a preference for availability during mornings and weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 online instruction tailored to each student's IEP/504 goals
- Regularly assess student progress and adapt instructional methods as needed
- Maintain professional conduct and a distraction-free remote workspace
Required qualifications
- Active Special Education certification (state or national)
- Minimum 3 years of classroom or tutoring experience at the Elementary (Grades 1-5) level
- Experience implementing IEPs/504 plans
- Able to pass a background check and authorized to work in the United States
- Reliable computer, internet, and a quiet remote workspace
