Job Summary
As a Remote Staff Pharmacist, the full-time position will ensure safe and accurate medication dispensing, oversee pharmacy technicians, and support clinical workflows while maintaining exceptional patient safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee front-end pharmacy processing, including order verification and patient communication
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal procedures
- Participate in quality audits and support the implementation of the Quality Management Program (QMP)
Required qualifications
- B.S. Pharm degree; Pharm.D. degree preferred
- Valid Pharmacy license in the state of residence
- Minimum of 2 years of pharmacist experience in a retail or specialty pharmacy
- Proficiency in using computer systems and managing time-sensitive order volume
