State Licensed Transactional Attorney

Job Summary

Seeking a proactive State Licensed Transactional Attorney, the remote Counsel II, Vendor will lead the negotiation and execution of various vendor agreements while improving legal processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency in a high-growth environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead negotiation, drafting, and execution of vendor agreements across multiple categories, managing a high volume of deals efficiently
• Design and implement playbooks, contract templates, and negotiation guides to streamline operations and reduce cycle time
• Provide strategic legal guidance to stakeholders and develop training resources to empower business partners on routine legal matters

Required qualifications

• JD and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
• 5+ years of relevant transactional experience in-house at a technology company or at a top law firm
• Exceptional drafting skills and experience in marketing tech, adtech, fintech, or financial services
• Strong working knowledge of data protection and privacy regimes such as CCPA and GDPR
• Proven ability to manage high deal volume while maintaining quality and consistency
