Job Summary
To support a growing Power Delivery Team, the remote State Licensed Transmission Line Engineer will provide technical leadership for high voltage overhead transmission line projects, ensuring project execution and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and execute engineering for transmission projects up to 765kV, maintaining project schedules and conducting regular status meetings
- Support Project Managers in developing project scopes, schedules, and budgets while fostering client relationships for future work opportunities
- Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards while participating in industry conferences for professional growth and knowledge transfer
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 5-7 years of experience in transmission project design and management
- Professional Engineering (PE) licensure
- Strong understanding of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD operation
- Familiarity with NESC, RUS, and/or GO-95 standards
