Job Summary
Providing expert consulting services, the part-time State Licensed Vascular Surgeon will support the FDA Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) with medical device reviews, research, data analysis, and administrative tasks while working 100% remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Consult on medical device reviews including EUA, 510(k), PMA, and other regulatory submissions
- Conduct research and data analysis to support CDRH's regulatory responsibilities
- Develop written reviews and correspondence, and coordinate meetings with stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D. or equivalent) from an accredited U.S. medical school
- Current, active, full, and unrestricted medical license to practice in the U.S
- At least fifteen (15) years of relevant clinical experience
- Certification in Vascular Surgery from a U.S. relevant specialty board organization
- Thorough understanding of current clinical practices in cardiovascular medicine and medical devices
