Job Summary
To support legal operations, the full-time remote State Licensed VP of Legal will manage labor and employment matters, provide in-house legal counsel, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the General Counsel and Human Resources in managing labor and employment-related issues
- Supervise and evaluate outside counsel on employment-related litigation and educate stakeholders on legal matters
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements while developing customer-centric legal solutions
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school
- Licensed in good standing to practice law in at least one State
- 6+ years of in-house counsel experience focusing on labor and employment law
- Experience negotiating and drafting various agreements, including customer terms
- Current member of the bar or able to be admitted to the in-house counsel bar
