Statistician IV
Job Summary
Providing statistical analysis support within the Epidemiology Research and Innovations Branch, the full-time remote Statistician IV will conduct analyses for antimicrobial stewardship studies, apply statistical principles, and prepare reports for scientific audiences.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct statistical analyses and provide consulting services on healthcare-associated infections (HAI) studies
- Prepare technical summaries and reports for peer-reviewed publications and public dissemination
- Advise on statistical methods and collaborate with public health professionals on study design and analyses
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in statistics, biostatistics, public health, or a related field
- Strong proficiency with statistical programming languages such as SAS, R, or Python
- Experience analyzing public health or healthcare data
- Ability to develop and interpret statistical reports and communicate findings to non-statistical audiences
- Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance
