Job Summary
Providing operational assistance and consulting services, the full-time Storage and Backup Administrator will manage storage and backup infrastructure, configure and support solutions, and oversee backup retention strategies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Configure and manage enterprise-class storage solutions and backup systems, including Veeam Backup and Replication
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to backup and restore processes, ensuring data integrity and availability
- Monitor storage hardware health and coordinate with vendors for necessary hardware replacements
Required qualifications
- 5-8 years of overall experience in storage and backup administration
- Proven expertise in cloud-native Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions
- In-depth knowledge of NetApp ONTAP clusters, DELL EMC storage systems, and Veeam Backup and Replication
- Certification in NetApp ONTAP, EMC Storage, or Veeam Backup and Replication is a plus
- Working knowledge of Linux OS and iSCSI is advantageous
