Storage and Backup Architect
Job Summary
To support a growing Managed Services Provider, the full-time remote Storage and Backup Enterprise Services Architect will design, implement, and maintain complex storage and backup environments while providing technical leadership and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own customer-facing hybrid cloud architectures for Azure-based managed services
- Lead troubleshooting and serve as the highest-level escalation point for complex customer issues
- Act as a technical lead and trusted advisor for enterprise customers, guiding them through cloud adoption and modernization strategies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- 15+ years of experience in storage and backup system administration and engineering in enterprise environments
- 5+ years designing and operating Microsoft Azure for enterprise or MSP customers
- One Dell backup/data-protection certification and one specialized Dell enterprise storage certification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
