Job Summary
To support the Acquisition Workforce Training Conference and Industry Day events, the remote Strategic Communications Specialist will plan and execute communications strategies, draft Government-approved messaging, and drive registration and engagement across Federal and industry audiences.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and update event communications plans and calendars aligned with Government priorities
- Draft and manage various communications materials, including invitations, event guides, and post-event follow-ups
- Track and report on communications effectiveness using metrics from registration and attendance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or a related field
- Three or more years of experience in strategic communications, marketing, or public affairs, preferably for events
- Experience managing email campaigns and digital communications through event or marketing platforms
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables through a review and approval process
- Eligibility to work in the United States and complete an HHS background investigation
