Job Summary
Supporting a DoW client remotely, the Strategic Communications Specialist will assist in executing communications strategies, develop engaging content across various channels, and collaborate with team members to enhance awareness of the client's mission and activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Strategic Communications Lead with daily communications and outreach activities
- Research and analyze media landscapes to identify themes and opportunities for engagement
- Draft and edit a variety of communications products, including articles, press releases, and social media content
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field
- Professional experience in strategic communications, public affairs, or a related field
- Experience developing communications content for multiple audiences and platforms
- Proven ability to conduct research and synthesize information into clear communications products
- Secret Security Clearance
