Strategic Finance Consultant
Job Summary
Seeking a strategic, forward-thinking Strategic Finance Consultant, the full-time remote position will oversee financial operations for AI and SaaS startups, manage budgeting and forecasting, and advise on capital planning while serving as a trusted voice to founders and investors.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee monthly close, budgeting & forecasting, and capital planning for clients
- Advise on financial strategy and manage the finance section of Board meetings
- Support fundraising and M&A activities, including investor communications and diligence
Required qualifications
- 7-10 years of finance experience in venture-backed AI/SaaS startups
- Experience with compute cost management and cloud infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of financial technology platforms such as QBO, Carta, and Ramp
- History of managing financial operations from a C-suite perspective
- MBA or CPA preferred, but not required
