Strategic Finance Consultant
Job Summary
Seeking a strategic and experienced Strategic Finance Consultant, the full-time remote position will manage financial operations for AI and SaaS startups, including budgeting, forecasting, and advising on capital planning and fundraising strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee monthly financial close, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury management for clients
- Advise startup founders on financial strategy and manage the finance section of Board meetings
- Support fundraising and M&A activities, including investor communication and capital structure analysis
Required qualifications
- 7-10 years of finance experience in venture-backed AI or SaaS startups
- Expertise in compute cost management and cloud infrastructure financials
- Proficiency with financial technology platforms such as QBO and Carta
- Experience managing financial operations from a C-suite perspective
- MBA or CPA preferred, but not required
