Job Summary
To support a growing SaaS platform, the part-time Strategic Finance Manager will manage billing, collections, and partner payouts while also focusing on automating finance workflows using SQL and Python to enhance operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Own invoicing, collections, and partner payouts, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies
- Design and implement automated systems to replace manual finance workflows, improving data quality and efficiency
- Analyze data to support business decisions, prepare forecasts, and create dashboards for financial metrics
Required qualifications
- 3-6 years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, or finance operations
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with automation tools such as Python and Claude Code
- Strong financial modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets
- Experience in startup environments, preferably in SaaS or related fields
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
