Strategic Financial Analyst
Job Summary
Serving as a primary finance point of contact for business units, the full-time Strategic Financial Analyst will manage planning, forecasting, and performance analysis while collaborating closely with executive leadership to translate financial data into actionable insights in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with executive leadership and senior stakeholders as the primary finance contact
- Own the annual budget, monthly forecasts, and long-range planning processes, ensuring alignment with company goals
- Analyze financial results versus budget and forecast, providing clear narratives and insights to leadership
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- 3-6 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or a similar analytical role
- Demonstrated experience presenting to and influencing senior leaders (VP-level and above)
- Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience with FP&A or BI tools such as Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, or Tableau is a strong plus
