Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Job Summary

To drive the efficient acquisition of goods and services, the full-time Strategic Sourcing Specialist will oversee the sourcing lifecycle, manage competitive bids, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and implement efficient sourcing strategies through the RFx process
• Prepare and manage competitive bids, including document preparation, proposal review, and negotiation of contract terms
• Develop and negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve optimal value and savings objectives

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement, vendor management, or supply chain management
• Experience with IT procurement and project management preferred
• Certified Professional in Supply Management or Supplier Diversity preferred
• Proficiency in conducting RFx events and managing multiple projects effectively
