Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Job Summary

Executing high-volume indirect commodity sourcing, the full-time remote Strategic Sourcing Specialist will manage short-cycle RFP processes for a unique USPS Master Service Agreement, ensuring compliance with federal procurement regulations while maintaining supplier relationships and data integrity.

Key responsibilities:

• Execute RFPs for sourcing services across up to 30,000 sites with rapid turnaround times
• Manage large data sets for procurement and auditing, ensuring accuracy of inventory and pricing
• Oversee supplier relationships, including negotiations and contract administration, while ensuring compliance with procurement standards

Required qualifications:

• College degree and/or 3+ years of related sourcing or procurement experience
• Experience executing high-volume sourcing with 3,000+ annual transactions and managing short-cycle RFP activities
• Knowledge of USPS Procurement Policy or Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data management and analytical tools
• Ability to work successfully in a decentralized, remote environment with minimal field representation
