Job Summary
To support the design and development of unmanned aircraft systems, the remote Structural Analysis Engineer will perform structural and stress analysis on composite components using FEMAP and Nastran, collaborating with a team of engineers across various project phases.
Key responsibilities
- Perform structural and stress analysis of carbon fiber and composite components and assemblies
- Develop and evaluate finite element models using FEMAP and Nastran
- Document analysis methods, assumptions, results, and recommendations in clear technical reports
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience using FEMAP and Nastran for structural analysis
- Experience analyzing composite or carbon fiber structures
- Familiarity with bonded and fastened joints
- Ability to interpret structural loads and translate analysis results into engineering recommendations
- U.S. person status required
