Job Summary
Transforming complex ideas into cutting-edge solutions, the remote contract Structural Designer will develop 3D structural models in Revit, produce complete drawing sets for advanced technology manufacturing environments, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project alignment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop 3D structural models in Revit and produce complete drawing sets
- Translate sketches and design concepts into high-quality 2D and 3D structural deliverables
- Manage assigned workloads independently while ensuring project scope and QA/QC processes are met
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with coursework in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design; Associate degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of structural drafting/design experience and at least 1 year of hands-on Revit experience
- Reliable home internet service
- Experience with Navisworks, Bluebeam, and steel/concrete structures preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
