Student Success Counselor

Job Summary

Contacting college students to encourage enrollment, the full-time Student Success Counselor will manage high volumes of outbound and inbound communications while providing guidance and support for students navigating their educational pathways in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound and inbound calls and text messages to promote college enrollment and assist students with enrollment documentation
• Assess students' educational and work experiences to identify suitable credential programs aligned with labor market needs
• Maintain contact with students through their first day of classes to ensure a smooth transition and provide ongoing support

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred
• One year of experience in a call center, student service, or customer service environment required
• Knowledge of college application procedures and transfer credit concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Experience utilizing AI-enabled tools and technologies to enhance work efficiency
