Study Abroad Advisor

Job Summary

To support enrollment goals for College study abroad programs, the remote Study Abroad Advisor will manage applicant conversion, provide comprehensive guidance on pre-departure processes, and maintain proactive communication with students and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Meet or exceed enrollment targets by converting applicants to paid participants during the application review and pre-departure process
• Advise students on complex visa and immigration processes while maintaining in-depth knowledge of CIEE programs and locations
• Develop strategies to prepare students for their onsite experiences and improve overall student conversion rates

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent)
• 2-3 years of work experience in a sales and/or customer service-oriented field, preferably with a focus on education abroad
• International study or work experience is required
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales or enrollment targets is strongly preferred
• Strong administrative and organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Salesforce CRM preferred
