Sub Product Line Lead
Job Summary
Managing the delivery outcomes for a sub-product line, the full-time Sub Product Line Lead will act as the Release Train Engineer, facilitating Agile meetings and overseeing a portfolio of products for the Department of Veterans Affairs' Supply Chain Management DevSecOps program, while working in a hybrid environment in Rockville, Maryland.
Key responsibilities
- Own all delivery outcomes for the sub-product line and facilitate key Agile meetings to report progress to program leadership
- Direct and manage Scrum Masters and technical experts, coaching teams on Agile best practices while removing obstacles
- Maintain the strategic roadmap and ensure the product backlog is organized with clear, testable requirements for quarterly planning events
Required qualifications
- At least 8 years of IT delivery experience, including 3 years managing multiple Agile teams on federal IT programs
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the supply chain or healthcare logistics domain
- Proven experience with VA IT product line management processes, including familiarity with the VIP Guide and ATO processes
- Experience balancing legacy system maintenance with new system modernizations, using tools like Jira
- Strong technical skills in software tools, Agile event coordination, and understanding DevSecOps pipelines
