Sub Product Line Lead
Job Summary
To support the Department of Veterans Affairs Supply Chain Management DevSecOps program, the full-time Sub Product Line Lead will manage delivery outcomes, facilitate Agile processes, and oversee product roadmaps and backlogs in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own delivery outcomes and act as the Release Train Engineer, facilitating Agile meetings and reporting progress to program leadership
- Direct and manage Scrum Masters and technical teams, coaching on Agile best practices while removing obstacles
- Maintain the strategic roadmap and ensure the product backlog is organized with clear, testable requirements for quarterly planning
Required qualifications
- At least 8 years of IT delivery experience, including 3 years managing multiple Agile teams on federal IT programs
- 3 years of experience in the supply chain or healthcare logistics domain
- Proven experience with VA IT product line management processes and familiarity with security authorization (ATO) processes
- Experience managing roadmaps and backlogs using tools like Jira, balancing legacy system maintenance with new system modernizations
- Strong technical skills in software tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub) and understanding of DevSecOps pipelines
