Subcontracts Manager
Job Summary
Collaborating with internal business leaders, the remote Subcontracts Manager will manage the subcontracting process, develop negotiation strategies, and ensure compliance with procurement best practices to deliver optimal value to the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Builds relationships with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and execute subcontracts
- Prepares vendor agreements, ensuring compliance with Prime contract terms and conditions
- Monitors expiring subcontracts and manages renewals or terminations as needed
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of Purchasing experience and 5+ years of subcontracts administration experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a Business-related field
- Proven subcontract negotiation skills and knowledge of legal subcontract language
- Experience administering various types of subcontracts, including CPFF, T&M, and FFP
- In-depth understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR, DFARS) and commercial business terminology
