Subcontracts Manager

Job Summary

Managing complex subcontracts for Defense programs, the full-time Subcontracts Manager will be responsible for all phases of subcontract activities, including proposal support, negotiations, and supplier performance management, while ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, award, administer, and close out complex subcontracts in support of Defense programs
• Conduct source selections and develop subcontract strategies, ensuring alignment with prime contract requirements
• Monitor subcontractor performance and lead resolution of performance issues and contractual matters

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, Law, or a related discipline
• 6-8 years of progressive experience in federal government contracts or subcontract management
• Demonstrated experience in subcontract formation, negotiation, and administration in a government contracting environment
• Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS requirements
• Experience supporting Department of Defense programs is strongly preferred
