Subject Matter Expert - Atlassian
Job Summary
Serving as the lead authority on enterprise collaboration tools, the full-time Subject Matter Expert - Atlassian will provide strategic guidance and technical expertise for Atlassian Data Center applications, drive standardization and automation of tool usage, and support user training in a 100% remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the configuration and integration of Atlassian Data Center applications, ensuring alignment with organizational workflows and security requirements
- Drive the development and optimization of plugins, workflows, and automation scripts to enhance tool performance and user adoption
- Conduct user training sessions and produce technical documentation to support enterprise standards and improve tool efficiency
Required qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise application configuration and collaboration platform support, specifically with Atlassian products
- Proficiency in developing and executing scripts (e.g., Groovy, Python) for automation across Jira and Confluence
- Experience with JIRA Query Language (JQL) and scripting tools for creating custom dashboards and reports
- Ability to interface with REST APIs and Atlassian APIs for system integration and functionality enhancement
