Substation BIM Technician
Job Summary
Supporting the Substation group of engineers, the full-time Substation BIM Technician will provide technical drafting support and create construction drawings/designs remotely while collaborating closely with the team.
Key responsibilities
- Complete design and drafting tasks for substation projects under supervision
- Utilize AutoCAD and Microstation software to produce accurate construction drawings
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion and adherence to quality standards
Required qualifications
- Two-year technical degree or current enrollment in a Technical Drafting program preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microstation is required
- Familiarity with Autodesk Revit software is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- Knowledge of substation electrical protection and control or physical design is beneficial
